One thing I liked about this camp is when we went on a treasure hunt at camp in groups. I had fun that day with friends. The second thing I liked about this camp is the Olympics we had. Which the Pink Panthers won. The third thing I liked about this camp is that we always went in the gym and played fun games. We would play kickball, knockout, whiffle-ball, soccer etc.…The fourth we did was that we went in the pool which was cool. And the best of all was the rockets going up in the air and floating back down.
Camp Blue Star the summer day camp developed by the Hamilton Township Schools Community Education Department is adding new and exciting technology to appeal to the increasingly technology savvy students that attend camp. Camp Blue includes ten Nintendo Wii gaming systems, ten 32inch flat screen video monitors, and ten Wii Fit accessory modules. The Wii Lab enables children to directly interact with virtual reality technology while having fun and getting physical exercise.
The Wii Lab is the newest addition to the camp which already has a state-of-the-art mobile computer lab consisting of 30 wireless Dell laptops. Camp Blue Star also has added a 34 foot horizontal Rock Climbing Wall and a 14 ft inflatable double water slide to its expanding list of fun and physically active activities. This in addition to the Hess School’s Olympic sized swimming pool, athletic fields, and gymnasium. 2014 weekly themes are still in the planning stages but Mr. Cliff has already promised that if you liked the Pirate ship that the campers built last year you will love his newest project. Fun and challenging events have been planned for each of the themes to provide an atmosphere of fun and learning in a relaxed and enjoyable setting.
